On September 22, 2026, Jamir Clarke, a 29-year-old assistant football coach at Blanche Ely High School, was arrested following a physical altercation with three student-athletes during practice.

The incident on September 22, 2026, follows a prior altercation in early September 2026, during which Clarke was recorded engaging in a physical dispute with students.
At that time, he was a campus monitor at Monarch High School in Coconut Creek. Investigators found a that shows Jamir swinging and punching a student inside the bathroom of the school.
