Brock Bowers, an American professional football tight end for the Las Vegas Raiders, grew up in an athletic household alongside his sister, Brianna Bowers.
Their mother was an All-American softball player, and their father was an All-Big West center on the Utah State University football team.
Brock played football at Napa High School and attended a Nike camp where his athleticism gained the attention of college scouts.
Although he was from the West, he wanted to play college football in the South because of the region’s passion for the sport.
He committed to play college football at the University of Georgia, where he won national championships. Likewise, he was named a three-time All-American and two-time John Mackey Award winner.
The Las Vegas Raiders selected him in the first round with the 13th overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft. He had six receptions for 58 yards in his NFL debut against the Los Angeles Chargers.
During the 2026 season, his receptions and receiving yards were the highest among all tight ends in the league. He was named First-team All-Pro, earned Pro Bowl honors, and set numerous records with his rookie performance.
Brock Bowers’s Parents Forged a Football Star
Brock Allen Bowers, the son of Warren and DeAnna Earsley-Bowers, was born on December 13, 2002, in Napa, California.
His parents raised him in a close-knit family alongside his elder sister, Brianna Bowers.
Warren and DeAnna were both terrific athletes and met at Utah State University.
Warren was a very talented football player who played center for the Aggies from 1990 to 1992 and was named a two-time All-Big West center.
After his playing career, he ran a successful construction company.
Similarly, DeAnna played softball for the Aggies and is one of the school’s all-time best players. She earned All-American honors and helped her team to make the NCAA tournament in 1992 and 1993.
After her playing career, she became a high school math teacher and softball coach.
Warren and DeAnna lived a blissful life with their two children, Brock and Brianna Bowers.
Brianna Bowers was a Standout Athlete in Her Own Right
Brock Bowers earns headlines on the football field, and his sister, Brianna Bowers, built an impressive athletic career of her own on the softball diamond.
She was a 2018 graduate of Napa High School, where she played four years of softball and two years of basketball for the Indians.
Brianna’s high school career was marked by numerous honors, including being a two-time Cal-Hi Sports All-State selection.
Her standout performance in 2017 helped lead her team to its first-ever section championship, earning her the Napa Valley Register’s Player of the Year award.
Following high school, Brianna took her talents to Sacramento State to play for the Hornets.
She made an immediate impact, earning an honorable mention all-Big Sky Conference selection as a true freshman.
During the 2019 season, she had a 12-game hitting streak, the longest by a Hornet that year and tied for the 12th longest streak in the program’s Division. I era.
Unfortunately, her collegiate career was hampered by injuries, which caused her to miss the majority of the 2026 and 2026 seasons.
