As per the sources, cheerleader Cambree York passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the age of 14.

She was suffering from a serious infection for a long time.

Carriel Jr High Cheerleading took to their official handle to announce the tragic news.

With heavy hearts, we share that our Precious Cambree passed away peacefully at 1:58 p.m.
Cambree arrived at the hospital about three weeks ago, and during that time our family was surrounded by an incredible outpouring of love, prayers, and support from friends, family, and the community. Unfortunately, her condition worsened over the weekend, and her challenges advanced at the beginning of this week.
Through it all, Cambree fought with remarkable strength and courage until the very end. She was deeply loved and will forever remain in our hearts.
Our family is profoundly grateful for the kindness, prayers, and compassion shown to Cambree and to all of us during this difficult time. Further information will be shared as we make arrangements.

It is with incredibly heavy hearts that we share the devastating news that our beloved athlete, Cambree, passed away this afternoon.
Cambree was a member of our Level 6 team and had been bravely fighting in the hospital for several weeks. Throughout her fight, Cambree showed remarkable strength and courage. She was deeply loved by her teammates, coaches, and our entire Cheer St. Louis family.

Earlier, on February 19, 2026, Hollie York organized a fundraising campaign on to help Cambree’s family with medical bills.

The campaign aims to collect over $130k, and it has collected around $115,692.

As per the campaign, funds raised will go directly to her family, providing relief for medical bills, daily living costs, and the financial strain caused by time off work.

Despite all the financial and emotional support, Cambree left the world, leaving everyone devastated.

Several closed ones and relatives have offered their heartfelt condolences and sent prayers to Cambree’s family to stay strong in this difficult time.

She will always be remembered for her unforgettable contributions as a cheerleader.
