Everett, Massachusetts Mayor’s Wife Harasses Me Over Campaign Mailings While I Attended the Football Homecoming Parade!

Everett, Massachusetts’ city councilor Guerline Alcy Jabouin took to her Facebook page yesterday to share a shocking message she received from Stacy DeMaria, the wife of Everett’s longtime mayor, Carlo DeMaria.
The note, sent around 11:49 a.m., was full of anger and harsh words, all because Jabouin had stopped by the mayor’s campaign office over the weekend to ask them to stop sending her mail.
Jabouin, who serves as a city councilor at large, explained the whole thing in her post.
She said she’s been calling the campaign for weeks to have her address removed from their mailing list.
Even after that, they kept showing up with flyers and, worse, stuck a campaign sign right on her property.
Jabouin expressed her frustration, writing:
You guys even go as far as putting campaign signs on my property just to harass me.
However, despite multiple requests, the mail didn’t stop. Fed up, Jabouin swung by the headquarters on her way to the high school football homecoming parade this past weekend.
She just poked her head in, talked to the campaign manager about the mail, and left.
From what she saw, it was only the manager and a few staffers making calls, and no sign of the mayor or his wife anywhere.
However, to her utter surprise, the following morning, her phone buzzed with a text from Stacy DeMaria, which read:
Do not ever come to my husband’s campaign headquarters again or anywhere that has any connection to my family. You are beyond evil and reek of ugliness from the inside out. Do not even look at my family.
Jabouin didn’t hold back and shot back at Stacy’s message in her Facebook response, writing:
Ma’am, I don’t even know you all exist. You said don’t look at your family, how can I look at someone I don’t know existed.
I’ve been minding my own business doing me and mine, but you have to come for me because you all are scared of losing power so you get in the attack train.
She turned the mayor’s wife’s words right around, calling out what she sees as the real problems in city hall.
Jaoubin wrote:
You called me evil and ugly from the inside out, but I’ll take this as a compliment coming from you. You know what is evil: It’s your husband being accused by multiple women for sexual harassment and getting away with it.
She brought up old accusations against Carlo DeMaria, like claims from multiple women back in 2014 that he sexually harassed them; stories that made headlines in the Boston Globe at the time.
Jaoubin wrote, “What is ugly is your husband having an insatiable appetite for other women.”
She didn’t stop there and pointed to more recent troubles, like him hiding their hard-earned tax dollars and demanding multiple checks.
Jabouin pointed to troubles, such as the state inspector general’s February report that found DeMaria had pocketed about $180,000 in improper “longevity bonuses” from 2016 to 2026, hidden from the city council and the public.
Likewise, she accused the mayor of using lawsuits to silence critics.
Jabouin wrapped up by telling Stacy DeMaria to stay away with a strong note, writing:
Please refrain from ever contacting me again. Your ugliness is showing and it doesn’t look good on you. You all should know by now you can’t bully me anymore. You look frail First Lady, take care of yourself and please, I hope this harassment stops NOW.
