An anonymous person, Stunning Jackfruit, alleges that Farmington Youth Coaches stole the fundraiser donated to the NM Elite 9u or 10u Baseball team.
He accused coaches Cody Walls and Jacy Cave of pocketing the money and using it for themselves.
An allegation of misuse of funds has been made against the coaches of a local youth baseball team. Stunning Jackfruit claims that coaches for the NM Elite 9u or 10u baseball team in Farmington may have pocketed money meant for the team.
The team held a fundraiser where each child raised significant amounts, ranging from $1,000 to as much as $6,000 per child.
The anonymous poster alleges that coaches Cody Walls and Jacy Cave are using the donated money for personal benefit and have not provided proof of how the funds were spent.
The post urges anyone who donated to the team to request a receipt for their contribution and to start asking questions about where the money went.

The claims have been met with strong, emotional refutations from the coaches’ families. They emphasized the volunteers’ transparency and the damage such accusations inflict on young players.
Rayven Deyapp Walls, wife of Cody Walls, posted a lengthy public response on Facebook. Her post centered on the harm done to the children.
She called out the accuser for using a fake account and detailed that a full financial review meeting had already held, with organized receipts available for any parent to examine.

Moreover, Rayven highlighted the close bonds formed by the team.
She stated that they have met so many good-hearted families that they adore and cannot wait to see what’s in store for these two teams as they continue to grow.
She mentioned that any adult who tries to ruin two teams of boys who are 10 and younger is disgusting.
Meanwhile, Peyton Pigford, wife of coach Jacy Cave, also responded, framing the anonymous allegations as a sad but expected form of defamation.
She praised the immense personal investment made by volunteer parents. She concluded by referencing a biblical verse, Luke 12:2-3, suggesting that truth will ultimately prevail.
What’s sad is, some adults who are not choosing to donate their own time and resources to these youth athletes tend to have the largest and most negative opinions about the ones who do day in and day out.
The coaches and their families maintain their integrity, pointing to existing financial transparency and focusing on the support of the team families.
