The Port St. Lucie and Fort Pierce, Florida, communities are mourning the untimely death of beloved resident and standout athlete Alexie Truong.
Alexie Truong passed away on November 24, 2026, at an untimely age of 17; however, his family hasn’t revealed the details surrounding his untimely death as they prefer to maintain privacy during this difficult time.
Born on July 23, 2008, Alexie Troung touched the lives of many in the Port St. Lucie, Florida, community with his amazing athletic skills and kind, helpful nature.
Alexie began his from a very young age, aspiring to become a professional soccer player.
He was a standout member of the Fort Pierce Central High School Boys’ Varsity Soccer team, building an impressive athletic journey as a versatile defender and midfielder for the Class of 2026.
Alexie competed for Central beginning in 2026, helping the team earn a strong 17–4 record and high state and national rankings during his junior year.
He also played for the PSL Hurricanes soccer club, where he earned admiration for his talent, work ethic, and genuine kindness.
Teammates, coaches, and friends consistently felt his positivity, leadership, and loyalty both on and off the field.

The untimely death of Alexie Truong has left a profound void in the lives of his family, friends, and loved ones.
Many of his loved ones are sharing the memories of Alexie on social media and paying tribute to him.
Joy’s Ice Cream Plus, where Alexie was working as a dedicated employee, took to its social media to recall his memories and wrote:
“Every once in a while, you meet a wonderful young man, that all of your employees love that has so many friends, even the customers loved him . Every once in a while, you get that perfect employee, that does what you ask him to do and always has a smile on his face and he’s always polite. That employee was Alexie Troung ! Alexie worked this past Sunday & on Monday we found out he had passed away. We here at Joy are devastated. To learn that such a beautiful angels with so much life to live had passed on. We pray for his family and our family at Joys.! Are hearts are broken, but we know this Angel is with God!🙏🙏.”
Joy’s Ice Cream PlusPSL Soccer Club also took to its official social media page to express its sorrow of losing a longtime member and standout player, and wrote:
“Alexie was a beloved member of our Hurricanes family, a talented player, a kind teammate, and a friend to many. His presence on and off the field will be dearly missed.”
PSL Soccer ClubThe Port Saint Lucie, Florida community is also extending its heartfelt condolences to Alexie Truong’s family as they grieve the loss of their beloved family member.
His family has organized a to honor late Alexie on December 5, 2026 at Aycock Funeral Home at 1504 SE Floresta Dr, Port Saint Lucie, Florida 34983-4041 form 3 to 7 PM.
A Vigil Service will also take place at the same place and same time ftom 4 to 4:30 PM.
The funeral mass will be held at St. Lucie Catholic Church at 425 SW Irving St, Port St. Lucia, Florida 34983 , on December 6, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:15 am.
Alexie Truong’s kind nature and his contribution to the community will always be remembered.
