Sania Buckner, a Grays Creek Middle School women’s basketball player, passed away unexpectedly on December 31, 2026.
Her tragic demise left a profound void in her community.
Sania Buckner was a key player and a true all-star at Grays Creek Middle School.
She was more than an athlete who excelled in multiple areas and proved herself to be a well-rounded and determined student. She was a power athlete on the court who brought energy and skill to her team.
Her passion for basketball shone through her social media, where she posted about her athletic journey and dedication to the sport.
Sania’s talents extended far beyond sports.
She also achieved great success in academics, earning first place in the Career Research competition at . It showed her focus, research skills, and ambition for the future.
