“I Don’t Feel Safe”: Parent Accuses Muskogee High School Coach and Staff of Harassment After Privacy Breach

A parent of a student at Muskogee High School has publicly raised serious concerns about staff conduct, privacy violations, and intimidation, sparking heated discussion on social media.
The allegations, shared on Facebook, center on claims that school employees accessed confidential student records and used personal information to harass a family.
According to the parent, the started during student pick-up at the high school when Tina Strickland, the school’s finance secretary, allegedly raised her voice and yelled at the parent in front of their child.
The parent reports feeling humiliated and distressed by the confrontation. The post read,
“Miss Strickland exhibited unprofessional behavior by yelling and raising her voice at me in front of my child during student pick-up today in the office,”
The situation reportedly escalated when the parent attempted to address the incident with Strickland’s supervisor, Kinsey Clark.
The parent alleges that Strickland accessed the child’s school records without authorization to obtain the parent’s phone number.
The information was allegedly shared with Strickland’s husband, Scott Schroder, a coach and teacher at Muskogee High School.
As per the post, the parent then received threatening phone calls from Schroder, creating a climate of fear and intimidation.
The post stated,
“This action constitutes a blatant abuse of private information, accessed during work hours by an employee of Muskogee Public Schools, to harass and intimidate a parent,”
The parent expressed deep concern about the potential for such incidents to continue, particularly what they perceive as a lack of accountability within the school administration.
Fort further reported that after receiving the threatening call, they returned to the school to file a formal complaint but were refused any meeting or discussion regarding the matter.
According to the post, Clark and another administrator then allegedly visited the parent’s spouse, who is also a teacher at the high school, and engaged in behavior the parent described as intimidating.
Due to these alleged actions, the parent stated,
“I no longer feel safe with my daughter attending Muskogee High School. I am concerned for the safety of all students and their families as long as individuals can access confidential records for personal gain, leading to the sharing of private information and threats to parents.”
The incident drew significant attention on social media, with community members sharing mixed reactions.
