Israel Gutierrez, a 23-year-old devoted father and loving son, tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle rollover accident on October 18, 2026.

Authorities confirmed the fatal crash at the intersection of Concord Road and Airline Drive at 3:42 a.m., and Gutierrez was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

Born on November 13, 2001, Israel Gutierrez was a source of joy and pride for his family from the very beginning.

Despite his petite size at birth, weighing just five pounds, he grew up to have a big heart, always putting his loved ones first.

His mother, Stephanie Ramirez, described him as a hardworking young man who often worked two jobs to provide for his spouse, MaKayla Cullens, and their two young sons, Payton, 2, and Kobe, 1.

This is the hardest post I will ever write in my life,” Ramirez said in an emotional statement.

“I would never have thought in a million years that I would get that call and now have to bury my beautiful, loving baby boy. Please, hold your children tight and cherish each day you have with them, because we never know when our last day will be.”

Israel’s sister, Amber Gutierrez, recalled his fearless spirit and unwavering loyalty.

Israel was many things, but one thing he wasn’t was afraid,” she .

“He always helped when you called, and he leaves behind two beautiful nephews and his fiancé. May he rest easy in our heavenly Father’s arms.”

Family, friends, and the Waco community are mourning the sudden loss of a young man remembered for his courage, generosity, and dedication to family.

Services for Israel Gutierrez will be held at Lake Shore Funeral Home in Waco, Texas, with a visitation on Friday, October 31, from 5–7 p.m., and a memorial service on Saturday, November 1, at 2 p.m.

The family has established a GoFundMe campaign to help cover burial expenses and provide support for Israel’s young sons.

Ramirez emphasized the importance of community prayers and support during this devastating time.

The Waco Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
