Born on July 21, 1979, in Cookeville, Tennessee, U.S., Billy graduated from Furman University, where he met his wife, Ali Napier.
The couple got married in 2008 and welcomed their first child around 2013.

His oldest daughter is about to enter her teenage years as of 2026, while his two sons still seem to be quite young.
Although Billy has not disclosed many details about his personal life, he does seem to be a family man.
He often shares vacation photos and moments with his kids and wife, as seen on his Instagram.
Being a dad of three and a loving husband, Billy seems to be leading a fulfilling family life with his kids.
He values time with his family, and in interviews, he often mentions that being a dad is a commitment.
Reflecting the importance of family ties and children, he once said in an ESPN interview:
“You’ve got to, man. You’ve got to take care of yourself. You need that time. I need time with my wife. I need time with my kids. I need it. That makes me better when I’m with the staff and when I’m with the players. We can always spend two more hours in the office, but if I’ve checked in with family, those hours I do have to spend in the office, they are the best hours. Doing your best work. I love it.”
While balancing family life and his career, Napier is now progressing with the Dukes following his five-year contract deal.
