Eugene Cyril “Geno” Smith III, the 34-year-old NFL quarterback for the Raiders, is married to his long-term partner, Hayley Eastham, with whom he has no children. However, Geno has a son whose biological mother’s identity is kept private by him.

Geno Smith’s only kid, Seven Santana Smith, was born in July 2019. Smith even called it the “greatest day of my life.” Although Seven and Hayley are not blood relatives, Hayley has helped raise him and been incredibly supportive within the family.

Many fans will think their son is named Seven, because thats QB’s Jersey number; however, it actually carries a deep meaning.

Geno’s grandma was born on July 7 and passed away on May 7, as G is the seventh letter of the alphabet, they fit together.

By the time Sevem was born, Geno and Hayley Eastham had been married for exactly four years, marking the start of their decade-long marriage, which would come to an end in 2026.

Hayley and Geno met at University

The couple first met at West Virginia University, when Geno was already an established quarterback for the Mountaineers, while Hayley was pursuing a law degree.

After a successful career at WVU, he was selected 39th overall (second round) by the New York Jets. This was his first of the five teams he played, where he spent four years, initially as a starter.

After spending a year each at the New York Giants and the LA Chargers, both as backup, he was traded to the Seattle Seahawks, where he spent most of his career.

He started 52 out of 54 games he played; most of the appearances came only after the 2026 season.

In the 2026 preseason, he also made an emotional return to Lumen Field, calling it “meaningful” and “everything to me.”

Geno is currently on a 2-year contract worth $75 million. He has already kept his spot as a regular starter for the Raiders.
