Youth sports should be about teamwork, respect, and fun, not favoritism and retaliation.

Davian Rogers expressed her disgust when she found out that their family wasn’t welcome at her daughter’s All-Star ball party in Ohio.
Only her daughter, who was bullied in the playground, was invited, and Davian expressed that no sane parents would send their daughter to be bullied at the party.
Davian watched as her kids worked tirelessly to prove themselves to be better than any other child. But instead of kindness, they faced cruelty.
On the playground, one child intentionally kicked mud onto her daughter’s white shirt, staining it. What made it worse was the boy’s father, who suggested to his son that it was fine.
Later, the same child approached Davian’s son, David, tauntingly asking if he was mad about the mud incident.
She had taught her kids to ignore name-calling and petty insults, but this was deliberate humiliation, enabled by adults who refused to hold their children accountable.
When Davian brought the issue to the coach, hoping for intervention, she was met with another blow. While her daughter was invited to the all-star ball party, neither Davian nor her boyfriend, Travis, was allowed to attend.
She was disgusted. It wasn’t just the kids, but it was the parents and coaches who turned a blind eye, allowing their children to hurt others without consequence.
Lucky you. You don’t have the stresses and worries that my poor 9 year old has every day. Most people don’t in their entire lives. I pray you never feel the way she’s felt for the past two years. My kid deserves better. And to wait to tell the coach until everything is already planned, knowing good and well, this is what his plan was, is even more pathetic. I am absolutely disgusted. I KNOW THEIR LAST NAME IS ARTHUR AND I DONT CARE WHO HAS A PROBLEM WITH ME FOR NOT ALLOWING MY KIDS TO BE BULLIED.
Davian Rogers’ Kid Can’t Attend All-Star Party Due to Parental Conflict
Davian Rogers recently shared a frustrating situation on Facebook involving her daughter’s youth sports team, sparking sympathy and outrage from netizens.
Her child, who played on both a recreational and all-star team, was excluded from the team’s celebratory party—all because of a conflict rooted in bullying and adult pettiness.
The issue began when Davian’s daughter was bullied by a teammate’s sibling, an 8-year-old boy who kicked mud on her 5-year-old during a game.
Davian, rightfully upset, brought the incident to the coach’s attention, only to be told that the boy’s father was the coach’s best friend. The coach dismissed the behavior as no big deal, leaving Davian and her young daughter feeling unheard.
Despite staying silent for the rest of the season to avoid further drama, Davian’s daughter faced another blow. The team’s all-star party was scheduled at the property of Mr. Arthur, the father of the child who bullied her.
Shockingly, Davian was informed that her daughter was not uninvited, but they wouldn’t allow Davian on the property.
Since no responsible parent would send a young child to a party unsupervised, especially in such a hostile environment, her daughter was effectively excluded.
The emotional toll on her kids was clear, as they struggled to understand why adults would let personal conflicts punish innocent children.
Netizens rallied behind Davian, condemning the coach and Mr. Arthur for using kids as pawns in their disputes. Many agreed that bullying should never be dismissed, and children should never suffer because of grown-up grudges.
Davian’s story reflects a painful truth. When adults fail to lead with fairness and empathy, the ones who pay the price are often the kids.
She don’t need to party with trash like them. She will have an even better party. How is it her fault worthless people can’t raise decent kids. Sorry not sorry.
