Emily Fields alleges that the Circleville Boys Basketball team thinks highly of her son, Brody, and decorated their tree with toilet paper for Christmas.

She claimed that the Circleville Boys team does this every year.

Teays Valley High School senior Brody Fields has made his college decision, committing to continue his basketball career at Shawnee State University.

The 6’4″ tall player wore a jersey number 2 and played the shooting guard position.

He was a key palyer and his performance attracted several collegiate offers, including from Concord University, the University of Pitt-Johnstown, and Point Park University.

As a member of the Class of 2026, Brody will finish his high school career at Teays Valley before making the jump to the collegiate level next year.

We are so proud of you, Brody❤️
You’ve worked so hard to get where you are at. The sky’s the limit for you🏀
Love you!

Holiday Prank or Harmful Act? Basketball Rivalry Sparks Debate

A Christmas holiday prank between rival schools has raised questions about where fun ends and bullying begins.

Emily Fields, mother of Teays Valley basketball standout Brody, posted on Facebook that the Circleville Boys Basketball team decorated their family tree with toilet paper as a Christmas gesture.

Emily noted that the Circleville Boys Basketball team thinks highly of her son.

She championed that the Teays Valley varsity boys basketball team is better than the Circleville Boys Basketball team.

Apparently, the Circleville Boys Basketball team thinks a lot of Brody. They decided to decorate our tree for Christmas 😊

Her post gained wide attention, and some suggested that Brody found his reason to drop 40 points on their next rivalry game.

They could have added more TP, haha, just kidding! 😂 Brody will leave them crying at the game!

Decorating someone else’s property without their permission seems like a fun prank or a nice surprise, but it’s actually a form of bullying and trespassing.

When anyone puts up signs, paints, toilet paper, or any decoration on a person’s home, car, or yard without permission, it’s trespassing. It means a person interfering is against the law.

More importantly, anyone imposing their will on someone else’s personal space is bullying.

What someone finds amusing or joyous could be unpleasant, expensive to clean up, or even harmful to their property.

It shows a lack of respect for their boundaries and their right to feel safe in their own home.
