American college basketball player Otega Oweh has two older brothers, Odafe and Irekefe Kaylen Oweh. Odafe plays for the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL.

Otega Oweh was born on June 21, 2003, in Union, New Jersey, as the youngest child of his parents, Tania and Henry Oweh.

His parents are from Nigeria, and they immigrated to the US for better educational opportunities and a better life for Otega and his three older siblings.

Otega grew up playing baseball, football, and basketball in the street and backyard of the house with his two older brothers, Odafe and Kaylen Oweh.

Irekefe Kaylen, the older brother of Otega Oweh, is also an incredible athlete. He played basketball in his high school, Rutgers Preparatory School.

He was the team captain as a senior and was a First Team All-Conference selection. Similarly, he attended Division II St. Thomas Auians College in 2026-21.
