Jalen Ramsey, the star cornerback who now plays for the Miami Dolphins, has three daughters, Breelyn, Brooklyn, and Joonie.
The NFL star had his first two girls with his ex-partner, Breanna Tate, the sister of the former NFL receiver Golden Tate.
Jalen and Breanna welcomed their first kid, Breelyn Erica Ramsey, in July 2018.
A little over a year after the arrival of their eldest daughter, the couple expanded their family of three into four, welcoming their second child, Brooklyn Journee Ramsey, in November 2019.
Jalen and Breanna were together for years, but they broke up around 2026.
Even after the split, they seem to get along well for the kids’ sake. In fact, Jalen has said in interviews that he has a lot of respect for Breanna because she’s a great mom.
Then there’s the third daughter, Joonie Ramsey, who was born in 2026. However, Jalen has never revealed details about who her mother is.
Having said that, Jalen loves talking about his daughters and frequently posts pictures. Jalen often talks about his girls when he’s on podcasts or doing interviews.
Back in 2019, on the Pivot Podcast, he said becoming a dad to Breelyn totally changed him for the better. He told Ryan Clark,
That little girl saved my life, bro.
In 2026, after a Dolphins game, he brought Breelyn and Brooklyn out on the field and told reporters, “Being a girl dad is the best thing in the world.”
Likewise, in August 2026, on the “All Facts No Brakes” podcast with Keyshawn Johnson, he mentioned having three daughters now and how they keep him grounded no matter what happens on the field.
He often says that his phone’s lock screen is a picture of all three girls, and that seeing their faces is what gets him through tough days.
