His father even took a job with an airline, and his mother worked three jobs to help afford the costs of this schooling plan. “I just want to continue making them proud… my family has done so much for me,” Wilson said of his parents’ sacrifices, vowing that he hopes to repay them someday.

That tireless support and Wilson’s own drive soon paid off. At Saint Louis, he became a star receiver, helping the team achieve a 38-game winning streak and win four consecutive state championships.

His remarkable speed, agility, and playmaking abilities caught the attention of college recruiters, eventually leading him to the University of Michigan.

College Stardom At Michigan

Wilson’s journey then came full circle to his parents’ home state. He accepted a scholarship to the University of Michigan, the very place his mom and dad first met decades earlier.

Arriving in Ann Arbor in 2026, the Hawaiʻi-raised receiver quickly made his mark as a dynamic deep threat for the Michigan Wolverines.

Over the course of his college career, he earned multiple accolades and was widely regarded as one of the top wide receiver prospects for the 2026 NFL Draft.

NFL Journey And Debut
