He came to me to complain. I chewed him out (for complaining about it)…and sent him back to that mom to apologize for knocking down the kid AND being a jerk about being asked not to. She was on the defensive as he walked to her; probably expecting him to say that his mom said to leave him alone or something. When he apologized, she smiled at him and said to just please be careful of smaller kids, and he said he would. As he ran off to play, she looked at me and smiled, and I smiled back. I wanted her to know I had no problem with her chewing him out…and I think I got that across.
