Malinda Chhay, a mother from Seattle, took to her Facebook to share what happened after a basketball game at her son’s school, i.e., at Cascade Middle School.

A fight broke out on Tuesday night, January 13, 2026, outside the Cascade Middle School in White Center at around 6 p.m.

According to Malinda’s post, there were two adults, along with one of the adults’ sons, who plays on the other school basketball team, who started hitting kids.

From what she described, they were mostly going after the young girls who were cheering for Cascade Middle School.

Malinda also revealed the names and screenshots of the profiles of the ones involved in the trouble.

In the comment section, she revealed a mother named Barbara Trevino from Seattle, writing, “The mother who hit the girls.”

Similarly, she also revealed another name, Angela James, writing, “The daughter who also hit the girls.”

During the fight, a 13-year-old reportedly got a small cut above the left eye and had to get treated by emergency crews from King County Fire District No. 2.

The kid was left with a parent after that, and no one else needed medical help there.

People who saw it said the trouble kicked off when a parent got upset over the cheering from the Cascade side.

They started shouting and making threats, and before long, the situation turned into a big mess with several students getting hurt.

One mom, who didn’t want her name out there, told the local blog that her own kid got hit during all the chaos, even though the child had nothing to do with the initial yelling.

The kid ended up coming home with bruises on their face.

A witness who reached out to the local blog said things got worse when one of the adults went to their vehicle and got a knife, which made people call the police right away.

Some folks recorded what was going on with their phones, and the school has security cameras that caught it, too.
