The Hamilton community has come together in support of 9-year-old Patrick Wetson, who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor.

Patrick, a beloved member of the Hamilton Wenham Little League & Softball (HWLL) baseball community, lives in Hamilton, Massachusetts, with his mother, Erin, and younger sister, Camilla.

When Patrick began showing concerning symptoms, his mother acted quickly and sought medical answers at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Doctors confirmed the devastating news that Patrick has an aggressive brain tumor.

The diagnosis has brought unimaginable challenges to the Wetson family, who are now preparing for a long and difficult battle ahead.

Patrick’s mother, Erin, who is already a widow and raising her children as a single parent, has decided to take a leave of absence from work to focus on his care.

This decision, while necessary for Patrick’s well-being, places an additional financial strain on the family.

Recognizing the hardship, family friends, including Julie Lopes, organized a fundraiser to support the Wetsons.

The campaign aims to cover medical expenses, travel costs, and basic needs as Erin devotes her time to Patrick’s treatment and recovery.

Our community has always been strong, and now it’s time to show Patrick and his family that they are not alone,” Julie while launching the fundraiser.

“We deeply appreciate any support people can give during this difficult time.”

Neighbors, friends, and fellow Little League families have already stepped forward, showing love and generosity.

Community members say Patrick’s strength and fighting spirit inspire them to come together in hope.

As Patrick faces this battle, the support of the community continues to grow.

Donations, prayers, and messages of encouragement remind the Wetson family that they are surrounded by love and compassion.

Consider donating to Patrick’s fundraiser to help the family during this critical time. Together, we can give them the strength and support they need.
