Steve Vigil, a father from Tucson, Arizona, recently shared an emotional post on Facebook expressing his frustration and sadness over being denied time with his children during important holidays and birthdays.

In his post, Vigil described how this year, for the first time in 15 years, he missed celebrations like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and his children’s birthdays.

Vigil, who has always been an involved parent, explained that he has never missed a birthday, holiday, or any of his children’s sports activities.

He has even taken on the roles of coach and assistant coach for both softball and soccer, ensuring he was present and actively involved in their lives.

In the post, Vigil expressed his disappointment with the other parent, accusing them of using the children to hurt him emotionally.

He also pointed out the irony of seeing complaints on social media about not having money for gifts while the children are kept away from him.

Vigil described this situation as heartbreaking, emphasizing that it has been difficult to miss these special moments after so many years of being a consistent and devoted parent.

He also revealed that false statements had been made about him, which he believes were attempts to justify keeping him away from his children.

Vigil stated that he has evidence to prove the other parent’s dishonesty and what he described as narcissistic behavior.

His post was both a personal expression of grief and a public message calling out the perceived unfair treatment.

Vigil’s story highlights the struggles many parents face when family disputes prevent them from spending time with their children.

While the other parent has not made any statement regarding Steve’s sorrow or the false accusations, Steve, on the other hand, seems eager for a chance to meet his children and spend the holidays with them.
