A 17-year-old high school senior and varsity football player, Jaeveon Joseph Hart, took his last breath on November 10, 2026.

Thus far, the precise details surrounding his untimely demise remain unknown as his family is grieving in private.

Sadly, he passed away 3 days before celebrating his 18th birthday on November 13, 2026.

Jaeveon Joseph Hart is survived by his mother, Javontae Hart; his sister, Journey Hart; and extended family.

His mother Javontae was looking forward to and prepping up to celebrate his 18th birthday, but now she sits with grief of losing him at such a young age.

She works at I️Hart Balloons & Events, and following his demise, she cancelled all the events, writing:

My heart is completely broken!!! I’m sorry all events will be cancelled for the remainder of the year! I will not be taking any bookings.

In another Facebook post, she shared the news, “Today I lost my son, I’m so heartbroken! Forever17💙

Even though she’s now arranging his funeral rather than marking his birthday, Javontae Hart shared on Facebook that she’ll commemorate the day with a balloon release to pay tribute to him, writing:

This Thursday, 11/13, we’ll be celebrating my babies birthday with a balloon release at 5:30pm at the Big Four lawn. I’d love for you to join us in honoring him. 💙💙💙 please bring blue balloons!

This speaks volumes about the depth of her unconditional love, as she rises to honor his birthday and keep his memory alive, despite his physical absence.

A campaign has been started to help Javontae with the funeral costs.

Caela Rae Helms, one of Javontae’s oldest friends, shared the GoFundMe link and penned a brief tribute post, which reads:

One of my oldest friends in the world lost her baby boy. Instead of planning his birthday this week and all his senior stuff she was so excited about she is planning his funeral. If you know Tae, you know what an amazing person she is and even more amazing of a mom. If you can’t donate please just pray for her and their family right now. They really need it. 🖤

Thus far, the details about his funeral and memorial services haven’t been published by his family.

During this challenging time, we pray for the strength of Jaeveon Joseph Hart’s mother, sister, friends, teammates, and extended family.

Rest In Heavenly Peace, Jaeveon Joseph Hart!
