Emergency crews responded to a devastating single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of Horton Jennie Annette near the Greene and Craighead County line.

The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) the incident on Highway 141 South and County Road 326 at 7:37 p.m.

According to Greene County Sheriff Brad Snyder, one person was pronounced dead at the scene. ARDOT later confirmed that the roadway was cleared at 9:11 p.m., but the loss left family, friends, and the local community in deep mourning.

“I wanna wake up from what feels like a dream. We were just talking about a week ago. Wrestling will never be the same for me. Someone please just wake me. I lost my mom in 2026, my sister last year, and my dad this year in June—and now you. Fly, beautiful angel. You will be missed.”

Gracie Lou Welborn, another close friend, wrote,

“My friend and I were talking at like 4 or 4:30 yesterday and she was gone just a couple of hours later. Tomorrow isn’t promised. Jennie Annette Horton… rest in peace.”

Friends recalled Jennie Annette’s warmth, generosity, and the joy she brought to those around her.

Hunter Mason remembered,

“I have so many memories with you picking me up with my cousins and always having fun, staying up, letting us play outside, and always cooking. I’ll love you always. Rest in peace, fly high.”

“We were Thelma & Louise. I can’t count the number of road trips we took. This time, this is a road trip you had to take alone. But I promise you, I will see you again. Until then, give heaven some hell and keep my spot warm for more road trips.”

The tragedy has left her family grieving, with Marann Holland Bonds sharing,

“It breaks my heart and I still haven’t come to terms with it yet. My cousin and step-sister Horton Jennie Annette lost her life in a car wreck. She will be loved and missed. Pray for her sons.”
