Shelley Barrow, a published author, drama teacher, and longtime advocate for NFL families, stepped in to break up an argument involving her husband, former NFL star Micheal Barrow.
Micheal Barrow is a former NFL linebacker who played for teams such as the Houston Oilers, Carolina Panthers, New York Giants, Washington Redskins, and Dallas Cowboys.
He was also a standout college player for the Miami Hurricanes, winning national championships in 1989 and 1991.
Moreover, in 1992, he earned Big East Defensive Player of the Year honors.

Recently, has been involved in a troubling incident at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
Barrow was arrested on charges of domestic battery after a heated family dispute turned physical.
According to reports, during an argument with his minor son, Barrow accidentally struck his wife, Shelley, when she tried to intervene.
According to the report, she had stepped in to calm her husband down when the incident occurred.
She fell to the ground, and then Barrow punched one of his sons in the face with a closed fist, which further intensified the situation.
His older son allegedly got involved, fought with Barrow in an attempt to stop the violence.
While the situation was distressing, authorities did not indicate that Shelley required hospitalization as she was not seriously injured.
Some , stating that Micheal Barrow was arguing with another person who had taunted him.
When Barrow threatened to punch that individual, his wife, Shelley, stepped in to break things up.
Unfortunately, Barrow accidentally struck Shelley in the face, causing her to fall to the ground.
After that, Barrow allegedly punched the person he had been arguing with in the face.
In this account, the reports do not mention that the other person involved was his son.
Later, Barrow was arrested and booked on three counts of domestic battery. He pleaded not guilty and was released on a $5,000 bond.
The judge referred to it as “the airport matter,” and emphasized that everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
