Queen Creek’s Sinjin Kirkpatrick, Former Higley High and William Jewell College Football Star, Passes Away, Leaving Parents, Sunny and Billy Behind

Sinjin Kirkpatrick, a former high school and collegiate athlete and dedicated employee of U-Haul International, Inc., passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2026, at an untimely age.
While his family hasn’t yet disclosed the actual reason behind his untimely death, many of Sinjin Kirkpatrick’s loved ones are paying tribute to him and extending their heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time.
Born in Missouri to parents, Sunny Beasley and William ‘Billy’ Longenbaugh, Sinjin Kirkpatrick won the hearts of many with his amazing athletic skills and his thriving corporate career.
He began his athletic journey at a very young age while growing up in Queen Creek, Arizona, excelling in multiple sports; however, football was the one sport he was truly passionate about.
Sinjin Kirkpatrick was a standout in both high school and college football.
He attended Higley High School, where he played for the Boys Varsity Football team and wore jersey #8, excelling as a free safety (FS) and wide receiver (WR).
Standing 6’1″, remarkable speed with a 4.6-second 40-yard dash and earned the title of Rookie of the Year.
During his high school career, he was recognized as a 2013 All-State Defensive Back under coach Eddy Zubey.
After graduating with the Class of 2014, his football journey at William Jewell College, where he played as defensive back #23 for the Cardinals.
Furthermore, he continued his academic journey at Arizona State University; however, he didn’t pursue his athletic career professionally.
Late Sinjin Krikpatrick Excelled in His Career As a Realtor and Program Manager
Although didn’t pursue his athletic journey professionally, he continued to positively impact the lives of many through his career as a realtor and program manager.
He was serving as a realtor at Keller Williams Realty Inc. in Scottsdale, Arizona. Simultaneously, he served as Program Manager for U-Box at U-Haul International, Inc.
Sinjin joined U-Haul in 2015 as a customer service representative in Tempe, Arizona, and was soon appointed as a general manager of U-Haul Moving & Storage at Main & Lindsay in Mesa.
Sinjin Krikpatrick is survived by his mother, Sunny Beasley, and her husband; his father, William “Billy” Longenbaugh, and his wife, Lindsay; his sister, Siena Beasley; his brother; his grandparents; and the entire family.
Like Sinjin and his father, Billy and his sister, Siena, also pursued their careers at U-Haul. His father, William ‘Billy’ Longenbaugh, has been serving as Marketing Company President of U-Haul of Southern Arizona since 2016.
Prior to that, as General Manager of U-Haul International, Inc. in Chandler/Kyrene for four years. He graduated from the University of New Mexico and began his career as general manager of Cactus Canyon in 2006 in Greeley, CO.
Similarly, Sinjin’s sister, , has been serving as a traffic control manager of U-Haul Moving and Storage in Scottsdale, Arizona, since 2026. Prior to that, she served as a business analyst.
Siena earned her Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Arizona in 2026. Prior to that, she attended Higley High School, where she was a member of the varsity spirit line team.
