Support Alden-Conger Senior #78 Henry Beaver After Traumatic Brain Injury During Football Game

He is a senior football captain, track and field athlete, basketball player, and Boy Scouts leader.

Henry Beaver, a senior at Alden-Conger High School and captain of the AC-GE Knights, suffered from a serious head injury during a game against Kingsland High School on September 11, 2026.

The young player was airlifted from Afield o St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. He was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury.

The community has come together to support Henry and his family during this tough time. People are helping in every possible way, like covering medical expenses and offering emotional support.

A has been set up by Caleb Kasa, a resident of Alden, MN, to help Henry and his family.

Many people have shared the page on social media to spread the word. For example, MNHA Football Network shared the GoFundMe link on X and said;

As of September 19, 2026, $2,688 has been raised with the help of 45 donations, reaching 59% of a $4,500 goal. “All money donated will go directly to Henry Beaver and his Family!” states the page.

Henry Beaver Is Still In The Hospital

According to the last update by his family, the Alden-Conger High School senior is still in the hospital and fighting.

After the diagnosis of traumatic brain injury, changes were noticed in his neurological test on Sunday, September 14, 2026.

The changes in his test showed that the pressure in his head was increasing. Because of this, the AC-GE Knights captain’s neurological team decided to place a drain tube to help reduce the pressure on September 15.

Moreover, the young football player is currently in the ICU, and his neurological testing has improved significantly, as per the story by his family on the GoFundMe page.

The Alden-Conger high school student is also doing his physical therapy. The therapy is helping him regain strength and skills, enabling a successful return home.

Since the accident, the young man has made significant progress. His doctors and care team continue to monitor him closely.

The family said, despite the progress, their son still faces a long recovery ahead. He will need ongoing care, therapy, and support from his family and medical team to fully recover.

Henry Beaver Has Been Playing Football Since Third Grade

The AC-GE Knights captain is passionate about sports. His family shared that he has been involved in sports, particularly football, since third grade.

During the 2026 season, he was selected as one of the team captains for his senior year. And the young athlete is proud to be a captain. In addition, he wants to be a good example for the younger players.

Throughout his high school years, Beaver has helped with the elementary football camp. He enjoys working with younger players and teaching the skills he has learned.

Outside of sports, the high school student has also been a member of the Boy Scouts since elementary school. For the past two years, he has served as the Senior Patrol Leader.

Henry is also a captain of the Track and Field Team. He throws Shotput and Discus. He qualified for the sectionals in 2026 and hopes to qualify again. He also plays basketball and enjoys many sports.
