James Conner, 30, the running back for the NFL team, the Arizona Cardinals, has not gone through a breakup with his long-term girlfriend.

The suspicion of a split first appeared in late 2026, when the pair unfollowed each other; however, James is still following his former girlfriend, while Sarah has chosen to make her Instagram account private.

Conner has also quietly removed all the photos of them together over time, suggesting a strong chance of a split amid the breakup rumors, though they have not publicly confirmed or denied the speculation.

They had known each other for around a decade, first meeting when they were attending college at the University of Pittsburgh around 2015.

Constant Support From College Days

Sarah Quinn, who is a registered nurse by profession, has a background in trauma and burn care, and has also helped his partner, James, who suffered Hodgkin’s lymphoma in December 2015.

James, who was a student athlete at the University of Pittsburgh, went through 12 rounds of chemotherapy before making a cancer-free announcement on May 23, 2016, just after six months after the diagnosis.

The running back even made a return to the Pitts Football team, and unsurprisingly, Sarah was also present for numerous games, as she was also on the Cheer team.

Sarah got her nursing license in 2017, and in the same year, the Pittsburgh Steelers drafted James in the third round.

Being an RN, Sarah also worked as a travel nurse during the Covid-19 pandemic, offering her frontline service to hundreds of patients, and currently also serves as a dedicated professional.

On the other hand, Conner also made his NFL Debut in 2017, in the season opener against the Cleveland Browns, but his season was cut short due to an MCL injury.

He played four seasons for the Steelers, appearing in 50 games, with over 2300 rushing yards, before making his switch to the Arizona Cardinals.

He is currently playing his fifth season with the Cardinals, having signed multiple contract extensions over the past few years.

His last contract with the Arizona Cardinals was extended on November 30, 2026, for a two-year term worth $19 million.
