Rebecca Ruth Ray McClellan, who coached at a boys’ little league baseball team, died on Saturday.

McClellan’s journey began in North Carolina as the daughter of a Baptist minister, where she graduated from high school before pursuing further education at Western Carolina University.

She was a cherished figure at Northside Baptist Church, where she was a steadfast member for over fifty years.

Mrs. Becky played a role in nurturing youth through her involvement with the Sonshine Youth Group, frequently immersing herself in the life of the church and participating in a wide range of community events.

Among her most cherished activities was her treasured participation in productions at Northside Baptist Church.

Her favorite production was the One Starry Night event at the church.

McClellan’s exuberance extended to her role as a supportive mother, where she relished coaching her boys’ Little League baseball teams, promoting both teamwork and enjoyment of the game.

Rebecca Ruth Ray McClellan Passed Away, Leaving Everyone Devastated

Rebecca Ruth Ray McClellan passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 27, 2026, in her home in Chula, Georgia.

However, the cause of death has not been revealed by her family.

Close ones and relatives poured their and sent prayers to Rebecca’s family to stay strong in this heartbreaking moment.

A visitation will be held on October 5, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. at Albritton Funeral Directors, located at 1020 Tift Avenue North, Tifton, Georgia.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Stacy Phillips officiating.

She will always be remembered for her contributions as a baseball coach. Rest in Peace, Rebecca Ruth Ray McClellan.

Rebecca and Art were with two sons, Nick and Jeff.

Nick tied the knot with Pam, and Jeff tied the knot with Jessica McClellan. They are mourning the tragic loss of their mother, Rebecca Ruth Ray McClellan.

Moreover, Rebecca is survived by nine grandchildren: Nicole, Luke, Blakely, Max Shultz, Ross, Paren McClellan, Molly, Madeline, and Emma McClellan.
