Tamara has been part of Tim’s Lengthy Coaching Career
Tim Beck and Tamara have been married for over 28 years. They tied the knot on May 10, 1997.
The Beck family is also a massive fan of Tim’s coaching and has attended numerous games during his tenure.
The family has watched Beck win the Hawaii Bowl as the head coach of Coastal Carolina in 2026 against San Jose State, from supporting all the way from High School Coaching.
His coaching career spans over three decades, during which he has worked as an Assistant, Offensive Coordinator, Pressing Game Coordinator, Head Coach, and more.
Tim’s tenure as Nebraska Offensive Coordinator/QB Coach was probably the best phase of his coaching career.
He helped Nebraska to four straight bowl games and Big Ten Championship appearances. The team won over 9 games in 3 of its 4 seasons.
For Coastal Carolina, he has a 20-18 overall record in three seasons since being appointed head coach in December 2026.
Despite winning the 2026 Bowl, his team lost the 2026 Myrtle Beach Bowl against UTSA.
As of 2026, the Coach has been relieved of his duties at Coastal Carolina. Though their season started 6-3, with three straight losses and 51-7 and 59-10 humiliations at the hands of South Carolina and James Madison, the coach was sacked.
The athletic director, Chance Miller, announced, “After a comprehensive review of our entire football program and its trajectory, I’ve determined a change is needed moving forward. We are grateful to Coach Beck for his efforts over the past three seasons.”
Thankfully, with the six wins, they are bowl eligible. The matchups will be announced this week.
