Joseph Trite, a former East Gaston High School Warriors soccer player from Stanley, North Carolina, sadly passed away on December 8, 2026, at the age of 24.

While the cause of his passing is not publicly disclosed, his demise left a deep impact on his family, friends, teammates, and the East Gaston community.

Joseph Trite was a senior soccer player at East Gaston High School in Mt. Holly, North Carolina, graduating in 2026.

He played varsity soccer as a midfielder wearing jersey number 15 and was part of the Warriors team from 2017 to 2026.

As a sophomore in 2018, he appeared in 7 games and scored 2 goals, while in his junior year, he added an assist to his record.

His senior season in 2026–21 was his most impactful, with 5 games played, 4 goals scored, and 2 assists, helping the team finish 7–5 overall and place third in their conference.

Across his high school career, for East Gaston High School, recording 15 points with 6 goals and 3 assists.
