Sportscaster and former football coach Urban Meyer, who may potentially return to coaching, has two siblings and is particularly close with his sister, Gigi Escoe.

Urban Meyer has been linked to possible Big Ten coaching jobs, including Michigan State.

On his podcast, Meyer praised former Florida coach Dan Mullen. He also spoke highly of UNLV, calling it “a diamond in the rough” for college football.

Despite these comments, he had previously hinted that he is not planning a coaching comeback.

Former Football Coach Urban Meyer Was Raised in Ohio Along With Two Siblings!

Born on July 10, 1964, Urban Meyer was one of the three children of Bud and Gisela Meyer, growing up in a close-knit family in Ashtabula, Ohio.

Among his two siblings, Urban was the youngest, with two elder sisters who each have their own careers and personal lives.

His eldest sister, Gigi Escoe, earned her degrees from the University of Cincinnati, where she later became the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs.

While not much about Gigi’s personal life is publicly disclosed, what is known is that she is married and has maintained a good relationship with her siblings.

As the oldest child, Gigi was often active in family gatherings and served as a pillar of support for Urban and their younger sister, Erika.

On the other hand, Urban’s other sister, Erika Meyer, has a diverse career background, having worked in the United States Air Force and at AltaFiber, according to her Facebook profile.

Erika is also a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, where both of her siblings also attended.

As of now, Erika is married to Jerry Judd, who is often featured in her posts, along with her sister, Gigi, and brother, Urban, at family gatherings.

While having their own families, Urban and his siblings have always been supportive of one another. It was even his elder sister, Gigi, who approved of Urban’s wife, Shelley, for their marriage.
