After raising many talents and dedicating nearly four decades of life to the community, Terry passed away peacefully on Monday, October 6, 2026.
Not just in football, Terry also coached baseball in the community and was often seen at practices even after his retirement.
His dedication to coaching and training young talent was never forgotten and will be remembered by many who knew him.
While most of his professional journey was spent in Hamilton Community Schools, he was also known and praised outside the community for his character and dedication.

While many remember him after his death, he is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lorelei, their daughters Shannon and Wendy, and grandchildren Olivia, Maya, Grant, and Morgan.
Family Church — Haven Campus in Hamilton, Michigan, will hold a funeral for Terry, with visitation open from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2026.
The visitation is followed by a “Celebration of Life” on October 10, 2026, at the exact location, where family, friends, and community members gathered to honor his life and legacy.
