Coach Jerry Bethell, a beloved figure in his community, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer in January 2026.

Heaven got a good one. I love you Uncle Jerry.
Jerry Bethell, remembered by many as a godly man and a devoted father, was honored by his daughter Michelle, who shared:
I can only imagine how my daddy is celebrating in Heaven. We miss his presence here with us, but we know with great confidence that he is with our Lord . His cancer is no more! Praise God!

As shared by his daughter, ,Coach Jerry Bethell’s celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2026, and the visitation will begin at 1:00 PM.
Likewise, the funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at First Methodist Church in Cameron.
