A student-athlete at St. Michael Albertville High School, Owen Haugo, got seriously injured following an accident.

Owen Haugo is a student athlete at St. Michael Albertville High School in Minnesota, where he competed as an offensive lineman for the STMA Boys Varsity Football program.

Standing at 6 feet 6 inches and weighing 310 pounds, he played primarily at tackle while also taking snaps at guard when needed.

Class of 2027, Haugo the school’s football system, starting with the freshman team in the 2026 to 2026 season, moving into sophomore football in 2026, and progressing to the varsity roster from 2026 through 2026.

He played in the competitive 6A Lake Conference. Haugo accumulated views on his performance clips, including matchups such as those against Wayzata High School in September 2026.

Owen Haugo Was Seriously Injured In a Tragic Accident

The sources confirmed that Owen Haugo of St. Michael Alberville High School was caught in a tragic motor vehicle accident on April 15, 2026.

On the evening of April 15, he was seriously injured and was airlifted to Minneapolis, where he was admitted to the ICU.

Alleluia Lutheran Church took to their official Facebook handle and asked for prayers for Owen’s recovery.

Donate to help this boy cover medical costs from the accident that happened right up the street from our house yesterday. Our girls were witness to the immediate aftermath and it was terrifying. He’s a wonderful kid, by all accounts and it would be a relief to his family. Pray for him and the other young man involved who was also hurt badly.
