Tyler Guyton is a professional American football player who plays offensive tackle for the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL. His known brother is Anthony Guyton.

The left tackle was the Dallas Cowboys’ 29th Overall pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft from Oklahoma.

Cowboys’ rookie started 11 games and played 15 games in the 2026 season. He signed a 4-year rookie contract with the NFL team worth $13.16 million.

Tyler Celebrated The Draft News With His Brother

During the time of the Draft, Tyler had a long list of guests accompanied by his parents, brothers, family, and friends.

When he got a call from Jerry Jones that Dallas drafted him, he celebrated with all of them, and even hugged his brother Anthony.

Tyler also grew up as a lifelong fan; his father, Alvin Guyton, was also a massive supporter of the NFL team.

Alvin’s mother, who was a huge fan too, didn’t get to see her grandson play for the Cowboys. She lost her life 2.5 years ago.

When Tyler arrived at the Cowboys’ stadium, he was joined by his parents, brother, and close friends too.

On stepping into the stadium for the first time, he said;

“Amazing. A dream come true. I’ve always wanted to wear the star and I finally got to do it… I just thought about all of the times I’ve watched the Cowboys play. It’s really been years of me watching, and finally getting to play was super cool to me.”

As Tyler Finnaly got to play for the team he always wished for, he had a decent start to his rookie season.

He played in 15 games and started 11 of them. The 6’7″ offensive tackle also took 670 offensive snaps, which is just over 60% of the team’s total.

The player is currently suffering a knee injury (bone fracture), which rules him out for 4 to 6 weeks. He will most likely return in the second week of the new NFL season if everything goes to plan.
