Claire Tracy, a former college athlete at Rice University’s Wiess College, passed away on December 7, 2026, at the age of 19.
As of now, the cause of her sudden demise is not publicly revealed, and her parents have requested privacy as they grieve during this difficult time.

was born in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, and raised in Menomonee Falls. She was the daughter of Sean and Tammy Tracy and had two siblings.
Her family supported her academic and athletic journey, including her club soccer with SC Wave and her achievements at Brookfield Academy.
A freshman soccer player at Rice University’s Wiess College, she was a 5’4” standout from Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, who wore jersey number 34 and earned a place on the 2026–25 AAC All-Academic Team.
Though she did not see action in her first Rice season, she arrived with an exceptional record from Brookfield Academy.
Over that span, , three conference titles, a 2026 state semifinal, and a 2026 state championship.

Over her high school career, she scored 118 goals with 63 assists, totaling 299 points.
In the meantime, she earned conference player of the year and a first-team all-conference honoree.
She also excelled in cross country, earning First Team All-Conference in 2026, qualifying for states in 2026, and winning the conference championship in 2026.
Beyond school, she played club soccer for SC Wave.
Academically, she was a finance major with a minor in entrepreneurship at Rice University’s Wiess College.

A member of Wiess College and a former member of the Rice soccer team, she was a talented athlete who had led her high school to many championships. Claire was a finance major and had close friends and a bright spirit. Our hearts go out to Claire’s family and all who knew her and are grieving her loss…
Although she passed away, her memories will be cherished forever by her family, friends, teammates, and the Rice University community.
