The Sacramento Basketball community is mourning the tragic death of coach Jordan Bell.

Jordan Bell, born in 2001, was a versatile basketball player from Stockton, California, who made his mark as a guard for Brookside Christian High School.

Standing 5-foot-10 and weighing 175 pounds, Bell played both point guard and shooting guard, bringing quickness, balance, and floor awareness to the Knights’ varsity squad from 2016 to 2026.

Wearing jersey number 1, he became known for his strong ball-handling, reliable mid-range shooting, and ability to read defenses, often stepping into a leadership role despite his young age.

His athletic measurements included a 4.96-second 40-yard dash and a 150-pound bench press, highlighting his commitment to strength and conditioning during his high-school career.

After graduating, he remained connected to the game by contributing to player development and coaching at Weston Ranch High School, where he assisted with the JV Boys Basketball Program for the Weston Ranch Cougars.

According to various sources, Jordan Bell, a basketball coach at Weston Ranch High School, passed away in November 2026 at the age of 24.

However, the cause of death has not been revealed yet.

Michael Baker from Foothill Farms took to the official Facebook handle to the tragic news. He wrote,

The Sacramento Basketball Community lost a legend this Weekend and I lost a good friend. Jordan Bell even at such a young age was one of the most intelligent Basketball minds I have ever worked with. We were luck enough to have him even for a short time at Folsom. Rest in peace coach this Folsom Basketball season is for you!!

Darlene Ragan from Sacramento, California, took to the comment section and sent prayers to Jordan’s .

Charles Gazaway III, who works at Pacific Gas and Electric Company and Apple, wrote,

This is Crazy!!! A young man with so much love and respect for all those that came before him is gone way too soon.

Other close relatives and family members also offered their heartfelt condolences and sent prayers to Jordan’s family, encouraging them to stay strong during this difficult time.

His family will soon announce their funeral service schedule.
