Youth Sports Coach at Nativity of Our Lord School in Warminster, Richard Adamsky, Arrested Again by FBI

Youth sports coach and Catholic school teacher, Richard Adamsky, from Bucks County, has again been arrested by the FBI on September 29, 2026.
He was first arrested in June 2026 following an investigation into the possession and distribution of child s–ual abuse material.
Adamsky reportedly worked as a teacher and sports coach at Nativity of Our Lord Parish School in Warminster, Pennsylvania, for over three decades.

On September 29, 2026, the 66-year-old was due to appear in court for a preliminary hearing. But before the hearing even began, FBI agents arrested him again.
They took him into custody and moved him to an unknown location. Adamsky’s lawyer, Christopher Serpico, said he was shocked to arrive at court and find his client gone.
He also said he had not been told of any new charges. According to the lawyer, the Department of Justice may simply be repeating the same charges already filed by Bucks County prosecutors.
For now, Adamsky’s local trial has been put on hold for at least thirty days. The case could be moved from the county court to the federal court, which usually handles more serious or wide-reaching crimes.
The investigation started on March 30, 2026. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) told police about possible child abuse material being shared online.
IP Address Led Investigators to Richard Adamsky’s Warminster Home
In June 2026, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia (the main Catholic Church district) issued a statement. They said law enforcement told the school about the arrest.
Before that, the school, the parish, and the Archdiocese had no “indication of alleged wrongdoing” by Mr. Adamsky. The Archdiocese said the activity appeared to involve only his personal electronic devices.
They said there were no allegations that the youth sports coach had physically harmed any child.
Furthermore, Adamsky had up-to-date criminal background checks and child-abuse clearances on file. Diocese officials said there were no complaints of improper behavior before he was hired.
The church called the charges “serious and disturbing.” They said they are cooperating with the police and are committed to preventing child abuse and protecting children in their care.
Moreover, investigators found an illicit image of a juvenile girl and ran it through Microsoft Bing’s reverse-image tools. They then traced an IP address.
The DA’s office said investigators traced that IP to Verizon. Verizon gave subscriber information that led police to Adamsky’s Warminster address.
Following that, federal and local officers got a search warrant and raided Adamsky’s home. He was the only person there during the search.
He Addmitted Having ‘Too Many’ Child Po–graphy Materials
In an interview with investigators in June, the teacher he searched for, downloaded, and saved hundreds of child s–ual-abuse images.
When asked how many, the sports coach reportedly said the number was “too many,” the affidavit of probable cause says.
As per DA spokesman Manuel Gamiz Jr.. Adamsky coached youth sports at the Nativitiy of Our Lord Parish School and at other area schools.
Additionally, Prosecutors said the ages of the children he taught and coached matched the age group shown in the images. After his arrest, the school removed Adamsky’s biography from its website.
A screenshot taken before removal said he had worked at the school for more than 30 years.
It also mentioned that he had won awards for Leadership in Catholic Youth Sports, Outstanding American Teacher, and as a “Disney teacher.”
The FBI Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force was leading the probe. They were being helped by the Pennsylvania Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
That team includes detectives from the Bensalem Township and Warminster Township police departments.
